Wednesday With Wiesel
Can you believe that in just two days Elie Wiesel is coming to Ottawa? Wow! Yes, that's Elie "Nobel-Peace-Prize-Winning" Wiesel. I have ensured that I will have a media pass for the press conference before the sold out show at the Westin where Dr. Wiesel is the keynote speaker for Jewish Federation of Ottawa's 2006 Campaign Kickoff. I still can't believe I will be in the same room as him. I'm very excited if you can't tell already, and remember vividly the first time I read Night eighteen years ago in English class at John Abbott College.

Sounds like a exciting opportunity to hear him speak.
Thanks for describing the Dusty Owl event. I missed it. :-S Sounds like it was great.
btw, Do you know that since you changed your template, your page has been loading superslow? Now when I click it I leave it to load while I do another task.
Thanks for the comment, Pearl. I might actually start archiving some entries...I believe the photos tend to slow the load time considerably.
What can I say about Elie Wiesel? It was an honour to be in the same room to hear him speak.
I heard rumours that he will be in Ottawa again on September 18th??? Have not confirmed this, though.
Archive update:
I just have archived 2004 into its own web page. The link is at the very bottom of my main weblog page. It will be archived annually. Next archive will be done on or around January 1st, 2006.
