I grew up about a mile and a half from then Dorval Airport...my friends and I built a kite from green garbage-bags, a twisted coathanger and masking-tape, tied it to two balls of kite-twine and let it fly...the police arrived shortly after to tell us that out garbage-bag kite had been picked up by the airport radar.
What a lovely memory...thanks for helping me retrieve it, John.

haha. that's funny, Stephen. As kids my brother and I used the ommipresent green bamboo tomato stakes - and like you, garbage bags.
