10 Steps to a Successful Book Launch

1- be a successful, award winning writer of 10 to 14 books (optional but helps)
2- invite publisher to event who brings along a case of red wine for guests
3- choose an intimate venue, and have them serve free food throughout event
4- be multi-talented: singer, musician (dancer if you're good)
5- share stage with other equally talented individuals
6- invite lots of friends and fans and mingle with everyone there
7- have launch on warm spring Thursday or Friday night
8- read proudly from your book; tell witty yet earnest anecdotes about your life
9- have books to sell and sign, and have change ready
10- repeat steps 1 to 9 when you feel like it
