Sarah

Sarah, originally uploaded by johnwmacdonald.

Sarah works at The Urban Well on Laurier East in Ottawa. She was our server last evening during the Christopher Dewdney book reading of The A B Reading Series hosted by Max Middle. Don't know if I'll get around to actually posting a pic of the featured writer. Maybe.

In any event, Christopher Dewdney, winner of the 2007 Harbourfront Festival Prize, read passages from his new book Soul of the World: Unlocking the Secrets of Time.

John,

Your photography is remarkable. Are you willing to share any tips with aspiring amateurs? Also, I'd love copies of a few of the photos you posted yesterday of Wednesday's apology--especially that beautiful woman holding her baby. I found that one particularly striking.

Thanks,

Allan

Allan,
I sent you an email regarding price list. As for tips...well, ask pretty girls politely for permission and snap away. That's about it. Oh yeah, buy the best and fastest lenses possible.

Good luck with your photography and check back here often. I do tutor/mentor locally as well for a reasonable fee.
