Like the smell of crayons in your childhood, for me this spot in the museum has a similar scent of nostalgia. Old locomotive trains. Ahhhh. I even told Matthew to breathe deeply. He must have thought I was crazy.

This was one of my favourite places when I was a kid... I can still smell the grease on the gravel...
a fantastic photo. it's just right. makes me think of train stories about kids. did you ever read the book or see the film "the Railway Children" ?
