Here's the scoop: rob mclennan gave me a shot list for his book Unknown Ottawa (Arsenal Pulp Press). One of the items on the list was of "wigs". It was only later that I found out that he had an entirely different wig maker in mind. Hence, I scrapped this shot and sat on it till now.
A nice lady allowed me to take a few shots in her cramped second level shop. But this one photo was the creepiest - with all the same white faces looking out at you. Wigs on mannequins are like that for me. And, yes, I know wig sellers provide a needed service to women who need this cosmetic accoutrement. It still creeps me out. I'd love to get some photos of my twins with wigs on, however...
