Mike Carey

Though I am not a die hard fan of comics and related material, Carey (a Liverpudlian) was an event highlight in terms of his brilliant reading. Quite entertaining and has an engaging style akin to the Scotsman, Ian Rankin's Ottawa reading from a few years ago. I'd recommend seeing him read in your area should he be in your town. You won't be disappointed.
