Medieval Festival in Osgoode

So the idea is to hold a ring outstreched and the jouster rides his horse toward you full tilt and attempts to snag it from your hand. Wow! Well, this time he missed the ring by *that* much.

their website needs a bit of a lift, as the html dates to medieval times, but it's a great little festival in the south of Ottawa. Check it out.

What a rush seeing a horse come barreling down toward you. Thankfully there was a rope... to save us all from a potential painful metallic death should the horse not stop in time. Rope. Yes, I think there was one. Love that rope. It will save us all.
