I could not, for the life of me, pass up this photo op from this evening. Note to Matthew when you're older - you can owe me one big time, buddy. Matthew turns one year old next Tuesday 31 July 2007.

Now that I've managed to fix the colour on my monitor, quite simple when you pay attention, I see just how extraordinary your pics are John; especially the wee fella's.

As a very old mother and a very new grandmother, I love this photo. It reminds me of my second childs first birthday when the noodle and sauce were the order of the day. I don't think she did the finger in the nose, but the rest was pretty accurate. That would have been 26 years ago. And it is still a wonderful memory brought to me by your photo. Your photos are wonderful - I just started looking at your site and I can't believe how quickly they touch your soul/memories. You should be very proud of your work.
